We loved Trunk Bay and snorkeling is great. The beach is white and the water is clear. There is a snack bar run by some cranky women who are not nice to each other or to the customers. Hey, but a hot dog is a hot dog. There's no eggs in their buns (for those with allergies). They have hamburgers,... more

Trunk Bay is great snorkeling and a gorgeous beach. There are patches of shade along the shore and the sand is white as snow. Great also are the showers, snack bar, and rentals. A great time for our whole family! more

We went to Trunk Bay towards the end of February and it is the most beautiful place on earth. The water was crystal clear, the area was sparkling clean, and the workers were fabulous. We felt very safe in St. Johns (unlike our other cruise ship stops) and would return again in a heartbeat. We did go as a cruise... more

we were here at the end of Oct. during the rains of Noel. Nobody was on the beach. It was $4.00 per person for use of the showers and bathrooms. This was the cleanest beach facilities I've ever seen. we didn't have to pay becaused nobody was there. We did snorkel the trail. I saw 3 sea turtles, a stingray,... more

It's no exagerration when the travel books call this one of the world's most beautiful beaches. The underwater trail is fantastic for beginning snorklers (see that review). The beach is wide, but not very deep, so you can actually find some shade if you get there early enough and still sit not far from the water. Also you can rent... more

This beach truly is stunning. I'll admit that. It is a knockout. Water is turquoise-green, clear, and the beach is like powder. Small wonder it's been photographed so often. We purposely arrived here at 8:45 a.m. to avoid the cruise crowds and get a good spot on the beach. We got in about 9 and had the snorkeling trail to... more
