Xcaret was more delightful than we thought!! It was soo nice, we got to see soo many animals, and birds that we couldn't name them all even if we wanted to. The butterfly cage was my wife's favorite, as well as the puma and tiger. I enjoyed the whole thing, even the food at the buffet there is good! I... more

I went there with my 5 and 9 year old girls and 4 others travelling with us. For us, personally, I think we could have skipped this and done a different activity with that day. I think the only thing we all enjoyed that made it a good day was the snorkelling in the snorkelling lagoon (we did not pay... more

We visited the park on our recent trip to Playa del Carmen. We have 3 children under 4 so I didn't expect to spend more than a few hours at the park. We ended up having such a great time we stayed from 9am-5pm. The kids napped in their strollers while we enjoyed a great lunch under umbrellas by the... more

Xcaret prounounce (Ish-car-ret), was overall an enjoyable experience. It had plenty of different things to see. The animals were fun to watch. The underground river was alright. It would have been really beautiful and fun if there were not hundreds of other people floating in it at the same time. You couldn't swim backwards or forwards. I would not recommend... more

Honestly, unless you are staying at the Occidental Xcaret which includes park admission, it is not a must see on your trip. It obviously is very hot and not easy to find your way around....for kids it will actually be a bit boring. Unfortunately, we didnt do the underground river.........but I did hear that the water is very cold! The... more

In Xcaret you will see a little Mexico. You can see animals like seaturtles, jaguars, bats in the batcave, flamingo's and parrots. It's also a kind of museum, where you can see things from Mexican life and history, like a Mexican graveyard, old Mexican villages and schools, mini maya temples. You can also join activities, like snorkeling, swimming with dolfins... more

We visited Cancun for a family vacation and chose to see Xcaret. My children a boy 10, and a girl 8 loved it ! We did and saw almost everything in the park. It was a long day but my children said the day made it one of the best vacations ever, The underground cave snorkeling was a great experience... more

If your hotel in Mexico doesn't have a beach and you want to sit and enjoy sun, sand and water, this could be an excellent place to do it. But beware of the $140.00 "all inclusive" deal. After shelling out $560.00 for our family of four, we quickly learned that what it gets you is a swim in some caves... more

I had huge expectations upon arrival because so many people said "Oh my God you HAVE to go there", etc., etc. So after spending about $250 dollars to get in, we walked around and were not impressed! Everything there I have seen before! If you have been to a zoo or Sea World, you have been to Xcaret. All it... more

My fiancee surprised me when she told me she wanted to go to this Eco-Park. She usually is up for anything and usually when she says she wants to do something, it is something that she thinks she will really enjoy. We were on a cruise with Carnival and one of our stops was in Cozumel. First, I will say... more
