Located within a 10 minute walk from Shinjuku Station, in a busy street with many restaurants and convenience stores, this brand new and sparkingly clean unit features a small spa ("sento"), and a gym. Rooms are rather small, but they are quiet in spite of the busy location and offer the latest and state-of-the-art Japanese technology, cooking facilities, washer /... more
I stayed at Oakwood Shinjuku for 4 nights in July and it was fantastic. It is very easy to find, I walked up from Shinjuku station after catching the bus from Narita, just follow the map they provide, there are street maps along the way as well. The room was small but perfectly fitted out with a flat screen TV... more
We stayed at Oakwood Shinjuku for 4 nights in an executive 2 bedrooms. The room was very spacious. We are a family of 5 - 3 adults, 1 six years old and a toddler. The kitchen is equipped with all the kitchen utensils. The room has DVD and BOSE cd player. It's just like being at home. We were so... more

We have stayed 3 nights in Oakwood apartment Shinjuku. Originally I thought we had to walk far away from JR shinjuku station. But I was wrong. We have... more
We managed to get an 87 square metre 3 bedroom apartment on the 26th floor with an incredible view over half of Tokyo for 3 nights at only AU$315 a night. I had to wait until 2 weeks before we needed it and then email to ask for a vacancy. I had 2 hotel rooms reserved in case we couldn't... more
We just came from Tokyo and I have to say that the stay at the Oakwood Shinjuku was more than expected. Location is great and convenient for everything, even cheap dining: if you like japanese food there are plenty of noodle places where you can have your meal for less than $10 - if you no much into asian foods... more
Stayed in a studio there for 5 nights. This is a strange place : everything has been made with an obvious effort to target an upscale market : flat screen TV, DVD player, multiple cushions on the bed, fancy bathroom. But it seems like there wasn't any money left for soundproofing... The hotel is next to at least 3 major... more
