This tranquil little hotel made our recent honeymoon a delight. The rate was very affordable and worth every penny. We spent a week in town and stayed every night at Posada Luna del Sur; with every day we seemed to grow more fond of the place. We were in Posada Luna del Sur for three days, and everything was great: the room is very wide and clean, very comfortable and fresh.We felt like at home there. We're an American couple living in Mexico. We traveled recently to Yucatan, and picked Posada Luna del Sur for our stay in Tulum. What a great choice! Visited tulum and stayed at the wounderful Posada Luna Sur. From the time we walked in, we were amazed by attention to datail and the care that has gone into the place. My wife and I stayed at Posada Luna del Sur for 3 nights, and were met by Janet's warmest welcome. Our room was bright, spacious and meticulously clean. The fridge was a big plus. Very clean, sweet and personable owners, felt safe. We couldn't leave the AC on while we were out, but it cooled down quickly. No room service or ocean view, but for Tulum it was 5 star more

We frequently use Trip Advisor so when we needed a place to stay in the Yucatan we looked for the #1 rated accommodation in both Valladolid and Tulum. Both places were lovely and different with their own charm. The Hotel Meson de Marques was a great find. Posada Luna del Sur was a special place, mostly because of the warmth... more
