The hotel is located in downtown with a walking distance to major attractions. When we arrived to the hotel we were given a small smokey room. After spending some time in the reception, they agreed to change it to something more descent. One of the cool things about it is that you can see the stadium from their restaurant, so... more

The renaissance downtown is great if you want to see a Blue Jays game. Otherwise I think you can do better. Our room smelled musty, the toilet was tricky, but everything was clean and neat. I do think that wireless internet should come free, which it doesn't at this hotel. i have stayed at small b&b's that offer free wireless... more

This was actually my first experience with hotwire. I was very nervous about it, and when i found out hat i was staying at the renaissance, I could hardly believer it. Seeing as though i was a tad naiive about the whole hotwire thing, I called the renaissance to confirm my reservation the next day, and I was told that... more

We were in Toronto for a long weekend. We chose this hotel because it was part of the Rogers Centre and for its proximity to Chinatown. The hotel itself is OK, the rooms are nice and clean, though seem a bit dated. The hallways were long, and the pool and gym were quite far from the rooms (almost like walking... more

Booked a stadium view for two nights in late July. This room offers a great view of the field and you can hear everything. We really enjoyed it. The location is great too, near the waterfront, CN, and lots of restaurants just 2-3 blocks away. The room was spacious, but not luxurious. And, the hallways are long - but it... more

Great hotel. We stayed there when there were 3 games in town and no problem with noise. The room was very clean. The breakfast buffet was second to none. We got 2 free breakfasts a day since we had AAA. We loved how you could watch the game from inside the hotel. All you have to do is walk down... more

I really like it. I came on a game day so I was really worried that it would be a wild, loud place. It was fine. I did sleep with earplugs though!! There are train tracks that seem to go under the hotel so you can hear them during the day--I didn't hear anything at night because I sleep with... more

If you are looking for a hotel in downtown Toronto close to all the biggest attractions, theatres, and shopping, the Renaissance Toronto Hotel Downtown is hard to beat. This hotel is located inside Rogers Centre, home of major league baseball’s Toronto Blue Jays, adjacent to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the CN Tower, and close to the waterfront. Our... more

This hotel is very oddly designed and is really out-of-date. Is located at the far west end of downtown --- a long walk to the subway and the airport bus does not stop here. All the elevators stop at all floors -- but! There is a wall between each pair of elevators and there is a long, long walk to... more

I've stayed at the Renaissance a few times as I was working in Toronto and we have a very good corporate rate. If you get a room at the front near the railway line it can be very noisy and the trains start early. Try to get a higher room at the rear (it's attached to the Blue Jays stadium)... more
