Lovely hotel, lovely rooms, great location and fantastic staff. Only one problem single glazed windows and a late night bar underneath blasting music til 3am then everyone pouring into the street singing until 4am. Its so loud there isn't a chance of sleep. I really enjoyed staying here at the Paramount Hotel. I can't express how great this location is for both sightseeing (City Hall and Dublin Castle are right behind the hotel) and pubbing (everywhere!). Hotel was in a great location right near the main strip of Temple Bar. Other reviewers say it was difficult to find - I thought it was quite simple. The Turks Head Chophouse is below the hotel. There is a "faux" entrance to the left of Turks Head, and the actual entrance is just around the corner to the right.... more

We got an awesome deal from Travelocity (100 CAD /night) and the hotel looked great so we of course booked. The location is excellent and the facilities are very good BUT... Ask for a high floor because there is a night club right underneath and the bass actually will make the fixtures, glasses and anything else not nailed down vibrate.... more
