My mom, brother, and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while sightseeing in Munich. The hotel is fairly easy to find and has a parking garage directly underneath the hotel. Parking is 16 euro a day. Upon arrival at the hotel it took us 20-30 minutes to check in as we arrived at the same time as a... more
We stayed at this hotel for a total of 3 nights. The rooms are on the small side but clean and new looking, clearly the housekeeping staff do a good job. The pillows on the bed are very thin but you could choose your own pillow type from the pillow menu. The breakfast buffet was delicious! A good selection of... more
OK - this is a big hotel with huge conference areas, but it feels different than other 'bed factories'. For example there is a very nice and modern restaurant - its decoration is earthy and warm colours and features big images of the German Alps - yet it is modern, really different. The lobby bar is inviting and also has... more
My husband and I booked a two night stay at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre as we were going to a concert at the Olympic Stadium but wanted to enjoy a couple of days in the beautiful city of Munich as well. The hotel is pretty much what you would expect from a Holiday Inn, an average, clean hotel... more
I stayed at Holiday inn with my best friend for 4 days. We booked a twin room from hotel's website 3 months before our trip, therefore we payed 80euro per day without breakfast, which is very cheap. The hotel is at a very convienient spot if you visit munich for tourism. The subway is UNDER the hotel, you need 5... more
I stayed in the Holiday Inn for three nights at the beginning of June with a large group of friends for a birthday celebration. The hotel was chosen mainly for it's central location and nearby transport links, so trips planned around the city could be conducted with ease. This proved very successful with the S-Bahn station directly linked to the hotel... more
Great little hotel at a good location in Munich. *** Exit S-bahn train at Rosenheimer Platz. *** There is a sort of underground shopping tunnel that goes all the way from the station through to the hotel, even though its about 2-3 blocks from the station. There is a sign pointing in the direction of the hotel inside the station,... more
Easy to get to via the S-Bahn link. S8 from airport then disembark at Rosenheimer Platz. Hotel extremely clean, lobby very nice. We were on the Priority Club floor. Bathroom really nice, rooms rather small though but beds were really comfortable. The S1,S4 and S7 take you from the hotel into the city centre. Can't say Munich is my favourite... more
Just stayed here a few weeks ago and was very impressed with the service from the people working at the front desk, who were all extremely efficient and helpful. The hotel itself is very convenient, located directly above the Rosenheimer Platz S-bahn stop. A 5 minute ride will take you to the Marienplatz (old city center) and you can easily... more
