The Flamingo opened in the 1950s, and somehow stayed in business since then. It is no five star Hotel, just a simple family owned Jersey Shore hotel. I can't put into words how BAD this place is!!! FILTHY, SCARY....it's just BAD. Drive to Absecon if you need a cheap place, but just don't stay here...cigarette butts on the floor, scary people checking in, and noisy/scary people walking by your door all hours of the nite...I was so scared I blocked the door with a chair!! more

I must say that the stay was very comfortable. the rooms where clean i was not bothered by the attendants and the other neighbors where not bothersome.
