Promenade Visconti is a 2 minutes walk from the beach, bars, restaurants and off course the famous churrascarias. It's worth to check Carretao Churrascaria! ive been coming to visconti for over 7 years. as a single, married and now married with kids...fits the bill each time. perfect location for beach & shopping. i was even stiffed by a driver once and the hotel refunded me my money and banned that driver from their property. leaving in 5 days for another week and checking into... more

Preferring small intimate hotels, preferably with a decent sitting area and some kind of food preparation area, this hotel fitted the bill perfectly. Location very good, in the heart of Ipanema.You can walk to the beach,restaurants,shops. Good size rooms with fridge and microwave if you reserve "suites".Around the area are some bars that can make a A LOT of noise during weekends or festivities. Stayed at the Visconti for 2 weeks in November 04 and thoroughly enjoyed it - apartments well presented and cleaned daily. Buffet breakfast included was fine and available until quite late.
