We really enjoyed our stay here! We loved Cati the resident cat! It really felt more like I was staying in a home, and I truly enjoyed the helpful staff. We stayed in the Bamboo room which had a lovely view of the patio garden. The fast and convenient computer upstairs with internet connection was a lovely bonus to help... more

We spent 3 nights at la otra orrilla. The house is really beautiful and the area is good, very close to great shops and restaurants. The staff at reception is very helpful, specially Paula. We stayed at the Junior suite, which is a very nice room. For the price, I will recommended this hotel. more

We spent our first night in Buenos Aires at La Otra Orilla and were satisfied with all aspects of our stay. We arranged with the hotel to have a driver meet us at the airport, which worked out fine, and we arrived at the hotel around noon. Our room (Bamboo Room) was available and we were able to take a... more

I have traveled a lot ! And let me tell you this place is awesome ! So chic and lovely breakfast, resident cat and the staff is so helpful and available all the time from ease of telling you bus routes to places where turistas don't go and locals do. We had such a wonderful stay here. We highly recommend the Bamboo Room, which had access to a lovely patio. The breakfasts were delicious, complete with fresh squeezed orange juice. It's conveniently located, a short walk, to the Buenos Aires Subte. The best part of the hotel was the kindness of the staff. They gave us wonderful ideas of places... more

This small hotel is charming and authentic. It is positioned in a good location in Palermo Soho only ten minutes walk to the centre of Palermo's nightlife and restaurants. We stayed in the Verde room which was okay, nothing special but clean and tidy with nice furniture. We arrived on a Saturday night late and went straight to bed after... more

We stayed here last week and it is a dump. Our room (bamboo suite) was damp with mould on the curtains and the ceiling was crumbling. The staff were not as helpful as we have experienced elsewhere in Argentina. The patio doors to our room didn't lock and they were not fixed during our 2 day stay there. The location... more

This is a beautiful old home in a wonderful area of Buenos Aires (Palermo). We initially booked the azul room and then changed to a larger room with a balcony after the first two nights. The rooms are bright and clean, the house is full of old charms (including a garden patio through the main entry way), the breakfasts were... more

We stayed in the Suite for only 2 nights in late September 2007, but it was long enough to have some cash stolen (£40). Fooled by the "family atmosphere" we didn't use the safe deposit box during our very brief stay. No offer to reinbursh us or get to the bottom of it. Shame. It left a bad aftertaste to... more

This charming and snug inn located in Palermo was our first stop on our recent trip to Argentina and we enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and the room, though a little squashed, was comfortable and clean. Good location within walking distance to the Palermo scene and the subway line to head into the city center. Also a good... more
