The Vain Boutique has seen better days. The hotel is not in great condition and sleeping can be difficult as a lot of light gets in through the doors (partly made of glass) for each room. The bathrooms are quite dingy and in need of repair. The service is minimal. Overall a decent location, but much better value can be... more

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers many little details you will not find in other hotels ... besides, the people were so nice and always willing to assist in anyway. The service is personalized and the entire staff make you feel at home. We had a great time and certainly recommend this small, but quaint, place to anyone... more

We stayed for a couple of days at the Vain as our homebase in the Palermo neighborhood. The summary: great location and staff. Small and noisy rooms. But that seems to be the rule with most of the boutique hotels in that part of BsAs (overall I preferred the Soho All suites and Vitrum). For once it wasn't street noise... more

First of all, thank you for your comment. Regarding your first comment, during the restoring of the house, we had to make some decisions on whether to keep some things from the original house, or changing them for modern ones. In the case of the room´s doors, as they are very characteristic in houses of the beginning of last century,...

We stayed at Vain Boutique Hotel with my wife for a couple of weeks in September. It was a pleasure to be able to enjoy the warm, welcoming ambiance of this perfect-sized hotel during these two weeks. The hotel is conveniently located in one of Buenos Aires' hottest districts, so we were within walking distance of the greatest dining and... more

My family, including myself, husband and two young daughters, my mother, my brother, his wife and two daughters all visited Buenos Aires this August for a family wedding, staying a little over two weeks. After some research we all booked at the wonderful Vain Boutique Hotel. We were delighted with our stay. The rooms were a very comfortable size (even... more

I stayed at the VAIN Boutique Hotel with my newly wed wife and after having travelled quite a bit in Argentina we really enjoyed the atmosphere in this beautiful hotel. It's location is very convenient and close by anything you would like on a short fun trip to amazing Buenos Aires. The interior is nicely decorated and cosy at the... more

Vain Boutique is small but perfect. During my 6 nights in Vain Boutique I felt warm a received good service. The staffs can speak English and Spanish, no any problem of communication. What ever you ask always give you a polite answer. The breakfast is also delicious, make a man so hungry can be filled in stomach. I hope I... more

I stayed at the Vain for 5 nights. The location is great: 2 blocks from Plaza Italia and subway, zoo, botanical garden; located in Palermo Soho, full of little funky shops and restaurants. Totally safe area, contrary to what some previous reviews said. we had a room on the 1st floor facing the courtyard and it was very quiet. Hotel... more

My wife and I stayed at the Vain for 3 nights recently and enjoyed the hotel. It is in a great location in Palermo Soho and the staff were very accomodating to us. We did have to change our room on the second floor from the room facing the street (I think 201) to one in the middle (I think... more

After your comment we put some extra isolation in the widows of the front rooms, and we added some black-outs and curtains to improve the sound isolation. Thank you for your comment and we look forward to having you again as our guest soon.

I had a very bad experience in this place (I can't call it "hotel"). I've been there with my girlfriend and when we arrived we couldn't believe we were paying about 200 USD for such a place. The room was ridiculous small and it had no windows, no natural light at all, no shelves, no local air conditioned, no privacy...... more

I just learned by a fellow Boutique hotel´s owner that there was a way to comment the reviews we receive… so after all the effort Mr. JSR-70 put in this large review, the least we can do as a hotel (unlike JSR-70 opinion, we still think we can be called hotel) is give a detailed answer to his review. 1)...
