My husband and I had an excellent time at Hosteria Lupama. It is small--only 12 guest rooms--but clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely pleasant and accomodating. Staying at Lupama was great!!. Its location is perfect for the magnificent view at the Argentino Lake and at the Calafate Mountain. Our room was very comfortable, the staff very polite and the owner very helpful when giving us tips for all the excursions. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and pastries. Highly recommended for everybody!! more

Hosteria Lupama is horrible. My partner and I booked two nights and left in the middle of the first night to go to the Kempinski to recover from the ordeal (at an extra expense $400). We heard dogs all night the windows are paper thin. The accomodation is in the middle of nowhere, bedding is dirty, the safe didn't work,... more
