What is there to dislike about the Tapatio? It is one of the best hotels in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and you can get a room for $95.00 until Jan. 5th (and around $220-50 after…good breaks for AAA members). We have stayed at the Phoenician, The Hyatt at Gainey Ranch, The Wigwam, etc. Of all those hotels, we often prefer to... more

Just got back from a mommies weekend away where we stayed at this hotel. The place was clean, view was beautiful, and the shower pressure was awesome! The hot tub we tried out was very relaxing. We ate at the Pointe in Tyme and I would highly recommend the shrimp scampi and the mozzarella caprese salad. 2 thumbs up from... more

We got a sweet $99 dollar a night deal for a three-night minimum. The weather was beautiful, the accomodations acceptable, the EIGHT swimming pools sufficiently resort-like, the food okay (except for the Pointe in Tyme Grille and Tavern, which was very good). However, this is not a restful property. It's right in the middle of Phoenix, along busy N. 7th... more

We just came back from another wonderful stay at Pointe Tapatio. The hotel is charming, centrally located and reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our room which was a palacial suite. Although the room had a couple of minor issues (the safe did not work and a couple of tiles were loose in the bathroom upon arrival), the response to any... more

I was in town for a business meeting, but due to Homecoming at ASU, my hotel in Tempe was sold out for the final night. I was looking for a mid-priced resort in the hills to relax and maybe do some hiking, so Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs seemed like a good choice. The rooms themselves are very nice. Mine was... more

We just returned from Pointe Hilton and found it to be a wonderful place to stay. We have always stayed closer to the downtown area but have tired of all the noise and traffic. So glad we found this Hilton! It's true that it is located "off the beaten path" but that's exactly what attracted us to this resort. There... more

This hotel is fantastic. It is built up into the Mountain Preserve. The all-suite property is spread out over 88 acres. Service was very nice. In-room dining was prompt and delicious. The overall price was a real bargin. Check out a AAA rate. I had a nice view of the hills. There is an LCD TV in the living area... more

I attended a 5 day conference onsite sponsored by an employer. I travel quite a bit on business so I can compare offerings and expectations. There is no complimentary transportation from the airport, so prepare to pay either a towncar or Super shuttle both ways. Expensive and not expected for a large resort hosting business conventions on a regular basis.... more

Just returned from our family's belated summer vacation. Overall this trip exceeded our expectations. Here are some high points: - Room set up was great for our family of 3 (my son is almost 2). There were three distinct parts- family room, bathroom pass through, master bedroom with plenty of room to walk around the pack&play/crib. - Our location on... more
