We arrived at the Royal Lahaina after travelling about 16 hours, and the guy at the guardhouse gate greeted us with a very welcoming 'you are home now, Aloha' greeting which was a very nice touch. Remodeled in great taste. Rooms are cozy, Staff was, "overly friendly" Kind of annoying really, But if thats all there is to complain about....I would return for sure!. more

We have just returned from our vacation at the Royal Lahaina Hotel. I can honestly say that our stay at this hotel was most enjoyable. The Royal Lahaina was not so royal...we arrived to an old and run-down property (don't even go near the bathrooms around the property). The rennovated rooms were slightly better than the rest of the property, but the black mold in the shower of our first room quickly runined that.
